FOUNDATION DAY FOR CARMELITE SISTERS
24th . August the feast of St. Bartholomew is Foundation Day for Carmelite Sisters. On this day in 1562, St. Teresa made her first foundation – St. Joseph’s in Avila Spain. Carmelites all over the world will join in singing the Te Deum in thanksgiving on this day.
